Contest “Who’s on next?”

YOOX.COM, AltaRoma and Vogue Italia

And the winner is…

Gabriele Colangelo, a 33 year-old Milanese, was thrilled upon hearing his name announced by Franca Sozzani, the chief editor of Vogue Italia, on the terrace of Rome’s Fortyseven. His innovative vision of handmade couture was what made his collection a winner: sweet and sophisticated, with an emphasis on white, lilac, georgette, shaved mink, organza, duchess silk, and embroidery. Noteworthy were his appliqués, his rounded shapes, his draping and clean lines. Colangelo has sense of true elegance and he’s “ready”: despite this being only the second collection bearing his name, his clothes feel both adult and modern.
Thanks to the new agreement between YOOX and AltaRoma, his new capsule collection—based on what was presented in Rome— will be available online in September, coinciding with Milan Fashion Week.

The accessories from the Object collection from B&B Italia range from decorative objects to tables to lighting components, depending on the vocations of the different designers.
